Hose Drip Trick

Use your hose to drip water your trees!
Back in the drought of the 90s I looked up one day at our redwood and was
horrified to see that its top was bent over as if wilting. I put the hose under
the tree and let it drip in one place overnight, then I moved the hose and let it
drip another 8 hours. Two days later the top of the tree was erect. Our water bill
showed hardly any increase. Now, in dry years, I do this with any trees that look
