Possession of Marijuana Arrest
updated: Jun 26, 2013, 2:26 PM

Source: SBSO

What started out as noise complaint by a citizen, turned into marijuana for sale arrest at a residence in Solvang. On Tuesday, June 25th at about 6:15 p.m., Santa Barbara County Sheriff's Office Deputies responded to the 1500 block of Acorn Way to investigate a report of a noise complaint. When Deputies arrived, they contacted 53-year old Alan Pugliese along with two male juveniles. It was discovered that Pugliese was on felony probation.

Pursuant to Pugliese's probation terms and conditions, Deputies conducted a search of his apartment. During the course of the search, they discovered significant quantities of marijuana, hash oil, THC pills, THC laced chocolate bars, syringes with hash oil, THC infused bottled lemonade and hash oil candied taffy. Many of these items were packaged for resale and commercially labeled.

A Sheriff's Narcotics Detective from the Special Investigations Bureau responded and determined Pugliese was not in compliance with California State Law relating to Medical Marijuana.

Pugliese was arrested for 11359 H&S, Possession of Marijuana for Sale. He was booked into the Santa Barbara County Jail on $20,000 bail.
