April 24, 2013 - Tree Tribute

Santa Barbara was saddened by the news of the great cypress tree falling on the Douglas Preserve during a wind storm a few weeks ago. Santa Barbarians are active though, and an Edhat subscriber shared a photo of a new tree that was planted in honor of the cypress. Let's help keep this tree growing!

In the news: The Food Network is looking for a local restaurant to feature in their next show, the SBC Fire Department will start defensible space inspections, and Edhatters debate a petting zoo tent at Earth Day. Read these stories and more, below.
