Last Sunday I made the beautiful drive up the 154 to Buellton for their wine and chili festival. This
place had a lot to offer. For only $30 a ticket, we received a tri-tip sandwich for lunch, 10 chili
tastings, unlimited wine and beer tasting, a complimentary tasting glass, and a live band to enjoy.

This cup necklace might be a little dorky, but it came in handy with chili samples in both hands.

There must have been over 15 chili and salsa entries to taste. I was too full to taste every station, but a favorite was the Bison
Meat Company. The perfect amount of flavor and spice, delicious!

This chili verde was another winner with the authentically cooked vegetables.

Best apron winner goes to ...

Local favorite Figueroa Mountain poured their craft brews. If you've read my past articles, you'd already
know how much I love their beer. Enough Said.

Sunstone Winery topped the wine tasting, pouring a crisp Chardonnay and smooth Merlot.

Amazing chili fries from the Hitching Post.

Unfinished Business delighted festival goers with their classic rock and "oldies" jams. They really grabbed my attention when I heard their cover of Led
Zeppelin's "Whole Lotta Love." Robert Plant would be proud.
