March 13, 2013- Crunch!
Our low-hanging underpass proves to be invincible yet again. A United Van Lines moving truck driver misjudged the height of the truck and bridge as
it crunched to a halt near the Bird Refuge on Los Patos Way Tuesday morning. Perhaps a larger sign or billboard of photos depicting these incidents should
be posted around the bridge to deter truckers. In the meantime, we'll be keeping score: Bridge- 2, Trucks- 0.
In the news: the Pan-STARRS comet graced our skies Tuesday evening, UCSB Police arrested a suspect for strong-arm robbery in a dorm, and a woman
