I saw this small bug on my bathroom floor. I thought it was a leaf then it started to move. A little worm
came out of one end. What is this?

Ugh. It's a plaster bagworm. That's the larval case. I think they turn into moths. They feed on cobwebs and lint. Do a Web search for more info and images. We have 'em too.

It might actually be a leaf! There are critters called bagworms that attach debris to themselves for camoflage. Some bagworms can be a pest, but the adult moths themselves do not feed.

Maybe it's a tiny frightened insect trying to hide from that giant thing -- you -- looming over it? :-)

Learn something every day. At first I thought it was April 1, but now not so much. If it will eat lint, may I have it, please?

922 for the win! EWWW says it all!!! Heaven help me if I ever come across one of these things with a worm hanging out of it. YUCK! I wouldn't kill it, though. I'd carefully pick it up with tissue, and then let my bearded dragon Weeble consume it.
