Day 3: Circle Boom!
updated: Mar 06, 2013, 10:30 PM

Did you guess the place of this historic circle?

###
The answer is.... the canon outside of the Army National Guard 700 E Canon Perdido St, Santa Barbara, CA 93103
From the Edhat Archives: One of the earliest non-Native American stories of Santa Barbara is of the cannon that was lost off
a ship in the early part of the nineteenth century. The story was so important that they named one of the first streets after it, Canon Perdido – Lost Cannon
in Spanish. Today, on East Canon Perdido Street across from the back entrance to Santa Barbara High School, there is a cannon with a red-painted back. It’s
in front of the old Armory, now the home of the 128th Quartermaster Company of the California National Guard.
