Yosemite Trip

Aquaholic and I ventured to Yosemite last week to try and capture the glow of the setting sun on Horsetail
Falls. This only happens for a couple of weeks in February. And the conditions have to be right with
enough water and very little clouds. We were successful with the clear skies, and thankfully enough water
to wet the granite to help illuminate the rock from the glow of the sun. We had two nights that were
perfect and two different locations. We were happier with the first night getting a tighter shot on the falls.
The weather ended up being very warm towards the end of our trip and it was so gorgeous. A few
creatures and beautiful scenery all around. The full moon rising, signs of fall frozen in time, winter and
spring in one trip!!
