Carpinteria Shore Birds

So here's the deal…simple things in life seem to captivate me more and more.
Maybe that comes with growing older. Maybe it's just a greater appreciation of
life. And nature. As a guy that's had a stroke, brain surgery, back surgery
and open heart surgery, I literally pinch myself every morning when I wake up.
I'm really grateful for every day I get. Which leads me to shore birds.
Have you ever looked into the eyes of a great blue heron, pacific loon or brown
pelican? Incredible yellows, purples and browns. Or how about the plumes of
white feathers of a snowy egret? I guess what I'm saying is if you get a
chance, get out and look around. There's some pretty magical stuff going on.
Now I'm not an expert on bird identification, but I think the Carpinteria shore
birds in these photos include a black phoebe, brown pelican, great blue heron,
marbled godwit, pacific loon, snowy egret, western gull and willet. Can any
Edhaters confirm these identifications for me? Thanks much.
