BB Gun Shot at Vehicle

A motorist reports that a bb was shot through a vehicle window as he crossed the intersection of Turnpike and Hollister.

Turnpike and Hollister..SBSO dispatched to respond stated he had just gone thru the intersection no problem..I don't know about you but I would shoot a cop car with a bb gun.. One would have to be cracked..Be careful out there tonight OK....

Weird. I caught some cop show on tv yesterday or the day before where some dumb butt had a BB in the roof of his mouth, somehow self-adminstered. As the cop said, if it was a bigger caliber... Sorry if he was trying to commit suicide, but it didn't appear so. Darwin awards.

Was the bb found inside the vehicle? Did the motorist make a police/CHP report? I ask if the bb was found only because I remember, years ago, that a friend claimed to have been shot at while traveling down the freeway; come to find out---a pebble got launched from the tire of a passing vehicle.

Can't believe a 'bb' could actually penetrate a car window. Could it have been a pellet?

They just said the motorist said that the bb went thru the window maybe the window was open.
