Call the Ranger District office. They have a lady that checks daily and gives weekly, I think, updates on their website as to which flowers are blooming and at what locations. I was on the e-mailing list acouple of years ago.

March more likely. And don't expect grand show if we don't get more rain.

March to late April for the highest elevations. Helen at the Santa Maria USFS district office is the one who compiles the yearly hot spot lists. Email her to get on her listserve. A link to it usually shows up here at the appropriate time. Meanwhile, get some hiking in and camera cleaned so you'll be ready when the time comes! Tarbet, Helen -- htarbet@fs.fed.us
