SLO Hike

Last weekend we took a family excursion to beautiful San Luis Obispo for a change of scenery. While we
were there we hiked up Bishop's Peak, located right in town. It was a beautiful, spring like day with warm
sun, green rolling hills and a fresh breeze softly blowing. Given the perfect weather and the holiday
weekend, there was quite a crowd, but that didn't keep us from enjoying the amazing views. As we reached
the end of our hike, a huge hawk called out to us and gave us a long once over. We're still not sure if he
was saying, 'Hurry Back" or "Split!".

SLO is always pretty, but green Spring is particularly nice. We really enjoy the view from Bishops Peak.

Thank you for taking us along on your hike. Nice shot of what I think is a Red-Shouldered hawk.

Beautiful place and photos! The trail looks much more used than when I attended college there. I must go back....

Is this an easy climb?, or lots of rock jumping? It looks easy that is why I ask. I don't mind as long as I can walk it all the way without any obstacles.
