Great shots. I sure hope the guy in pic 6 didn't end up being target practice.

I really like your pictures, especially how the colors are natural, not Photoshop saturated! Thanks for them. Did you use a polaroid filter for the starfish and anemone pix? The second starfish one is really beautiful.

169, Ansel Adams invented the rudimentary photoshop techniques in use today only he called it the Zone System. All photographers know that lenses alone can never fully record images as our eyes see them. Thus exposure modification either by filters or other light controls is needed. But, to much of a good thing is a bad thing, the same goes for the over photoshopping of images.

Some people use software to show you what they saw and not what the camera recorded. Very rarely is an image captured in perfect conditions with perfect exposure. Tolstoy "What is Art" is an excellent read. Nice images of a beautiful day. The camera is an instrument that teaches us to see differently.

I like that the Great Egret photo is in upside-down.

Egret isn't upside down, that's him standing over his reflection. Color rendition can be the result of the lens coatings, I get good results with Zeiss lenses. Polarizer also helps. Wish I was home.

Egret is upside down. I wondered whether any astute observers would recognize it.
