A man authorities said was making hashish oil from marijuana plants when an explosion caused a flash fire
in Isla Vista in December pleaded to manufacturing hash oil plus the use of a deadly weapon.

I sure miss follow-up on this site. I realize it's too big to allow for threads to be comment-guided; brought back to life by comments, but like all local news sites, follow-up takes a real effort from news consumers. The Independent is good at it.
I also read Noozhawk every day; I don't just rely on Edhat.

Anyone doing something as stupid as pulling that stunt in a structure where people live should do at least 10 years..I read the article and feel the same way I did then.. :)
