A phenomenal young man from an extraordinary family. His loss will be felt by so many, but his spirit will live on in the hearts of the boisterous Bohnett clan. God Bless.

Very sad about this. He was way way too young. A great guy and a true Santa Barbaran. Loved working on the occasional job with him. I'll miss you Matt. Condolences to the family.

The guy knew his way around the BBQ and the kitchen as well. I was lucky enough to attend several dinners where he did the cooking: Ribs, chicken, tri-tip, rib eye, and hot dogs for the kids. He also made pizza from scratch that was to die for (had his own pizza stones) and made home made ice cream that was nothing but caloric decadence, but there was never enough to go around because everyone ate it all up!!! He was a painting contractor, but would have done well as a chef in a fine restaurant. Wow.... just .thinking about the cherry with chocolate chunk ice cream he made us about ten years ago. Such a loss. The Bohnett family is stellar....S-T-E-L-L-A-R.
