Elected Officials Thank Volunteers

The Democratic Service Club had a Mardi Gras party on Sunday to thank volunteers who spent hours all Fall
working to elect Democratic candidates. Some did phoning, others walked door to door to inform voters
of issues and candidates. And they got results worth celebrating with delicious food from Pascuccis and
Frescos. It was a very happy occasion.

377 - Fairey never went to jail. He was only sentenced to probabtion and a fine.

looks like they didn't get Government funding for the party! not much there. I guess there wasnt much around to warrent giving beads.I have more lavish party's for myself at home!

Yes, 508, there are some old white people who have progressive ideas and have the time to volunteer. I would think Republicans also have volunteers who are old white people. Younger people are working and don't have as much time to volunteer as retired people. But the important thing is that we had a standing room only crowd of happy people who won the elections from the President down. I guess that explains the bitter comments from those who didn't win. Without the work of our Campus Dems in this county and across the country we could not have won, so don't think there are not a lot of young people and people of color who worked hard for the Democratic victories. We're sticking together for fair responsible government, social justice, and civil and reproductive rights.
