By Edhat Subscriber

At 6:57 PM a hiker was reported stuck in the mud and having an asthma attack. The location was reported as a fire road off West Camino Cielo near 154.

Engine 13 responded and asked twice for helicopter support. They were told that helicopter support was unavailable.

Shortly thereafter the battalion chief headed up, and later SAR was called.

By 7:48 PM SAR had some GPS coordinates & were still looking.

At 7:51 they found the patients and Engine 13 was on the way to meet with SAR and the patients.

At 8:05 PM the patients were being taken out and moved to the ambulance which was stationed at the gun club.

The vehicles of the hikers were stuck in the mud and were being left there for the night.

At 8:40 PM Patient was being transported by AMR to SB Cottage Hospital - all units finished and returning.

The preceding information was from scanner traffic. It is unknown how many patients with injuries there were, but there was more than one car stuck in the mud associated with them.
