There is no fire - just hot brakes from a car coming down the hill. Engine 3 back in service.

I heard it overheaded if it was comming down the hill when the fire department responded wouldn't the car have been somewhere else?

The car was at the reservoir near the bottom of the hill.
The brakes apparently overheated as it was making its way down the hill and then the car stopped there when noticing the smoking.

Good thing that there wasn't a real fire since the FD had a long time in getting a truck on scene. Station 7 is closest but wasn't dispatched for some reason. Then it was back and forth between Engine 3 and Engine 15. Seemed to me to be 15 or 20 minutes before one called on scene.

Resident - you are right about that.
Engine 7 was out on another call apparently and Eng 15 never made it there (being canceled when "Park 1" reported that the fire was out before Engine 3 arrived). Maybe they downgraded to code 2 when it was reported the fire was out.
