Trading Card Collector Dealers
updated: Feb 08, 2013, 3:13 PM
I have a box of trading cards that I reluctantly need to sell and wondering if there are any collectible
dealers on the area. Any EdHatters have any suggestions besides Craigslist or eBay?

I don't know of any specific collectors but unless you have some really rare cards don't get your hopes up for making much $$ from them. The sports card market has pretty much dried up.

TJ's Hobbies in Solvang at the intersection of Alisal Rd. & Copenhagen Dr. upstairs Tom H. has been in the collectable cards business for many years. Give him a shout out.

If your cards are sports related you might try Great American Baseball Cards at 4010 Calle Real, Goleta. However, if your cards are comics related or fantasy based try Metro Entertainment at 6 W. Anapamu St. in downtown SB. Good luck.

375. Yes. The bottom has fallen out on a lot of former "money maker" items. Unless, of course, you're that guy who just opened the box of his hoarder grandma's 100-year-old baseball cards . . .
