TRAFFIC SIGNAL IMPROVEMENTS ALONG HIGHWAY 1 THROUGH LOMPOC
A project to improve the traffic signal lights on Hwy. 1 (North H Street) from Ocean Avenue to Purisima
Road/Harris Grade Road will begin on Monday, Feb. 11
The No. 1 (left lane) of Hwy. 1 (North H Street) will be closed in both directions Monday through Friday
from 9 am to 3 pm. The No. 2 (right lane) will remain open. All road work and lane closures are
scheduled to end on Friday afternoon, Feb. 15.
Motorists will encounter the closure of three consecutive intersections within the project area. All cross
streets will remain open while alternating cross street turn pockets will be closed intermittently.
Motorists can expect a delay not to exceed 15 minutes.
This project will ensure a safe roadway for those who travel Hwy. 1 (North H Street) in the Lompoc
community.
Caltrans reminds motorists to move over and slow down when driving through Caltrans construction
zones.

I hope they do something about the rediculously slow lights for traffic going East and West bound at Chestnut and Laurel Avenues, what a pain in the @-- they are!
