Scanner Reports 2-8-13
updated: Feb 08, 2013, 7:00 AM

By Roger the Scanner Guy

FRYday is Here!!! Finally it's FRYday! Of course there's rain in the forecast; and wind. I love the Wind it sure is Chilly. On Wednesday Shakey was visiting he was sitting in my chair surfing the web. He got up several times and had sat back down; I was still using the old chair because I use those chairs till they are broken darn near. I was talking to him and he leans back, back, back. CRASH! It was great. I coulda grabbed him, but I was laughing too hard at the look of shock on his face as he was going backwards! He woulda done the same thing if it was me. I'm still laughing thinkin about him crashing in dat chair. Highlight of my Week.

Noticed a couple calls go out for drinkers and pot smokers near schools, and daycares. If you're going to party be aware of your surroundings and please don't do it around kids.

Don't leave doors, windows, unlocked if you care about your home and personal belongings. Don't leave your vehicles engine running for even a second unattended if you want to keep your vehicle. There are opportunists out there willing to take just about anything off your hands if you give them the chance.

Wow Paul Vercamman former KEYT News Man reporting on CNN on the Chris Dorner case, cool. I was reading up on this case and on one website came across comments advocating his attacks. The writer, a young woman, claims to be an intern of the ACLU, go figure. She said some pretty horrible things commenting that she hoped that he killed all of the people on his list because it SEEMS they are Guilty. This woman looked as if she was in her early 20's. It's interesting to me what direction it SEEMS our country is heading with not only of actions of people, but beliefs. I have always had an interest in violence because of my past. You get a lot of weird, thoughts and beliefs in your head when you have been wronged; spending a lot of time alone doesn't help. I was angry at people for a long time and had bad thoughts. I think age caught up with me I'm old, lazy and I hurt too much to shove people in a wood chipper. No I'm not making fun of the situation for those of you that think I am. Not everyone that has the thoughts and Anger act on it. I don't have the thoughts any more either but I had them for many years. I had no plans to do anything but I had the thoughts they were pretty constant. There were things that came to me through the years that made me think differently. One saying I heard somewhere was "No one deserves my anger". I was bullied pretty badly and another thought that came to me was that the kids I grew up with probably went through some of the same things I did. Other things I've read and seen in movies. While I was violent when I was younger and did hurt some people I am glad I no longer have those thoughts and feelings. Even though I'm not rich, haven't won the lottery I am FREE of the HELL that was between my ears for a better part of 45 years. PRAISE THEE DOG! Hopefully Chris Dorner will be caught soon. It SEEMS that everyone in the state of California is on edge.

You're going to have to wait a while, Roger. The earliest CA gets a store is in 2015 and I sincerely doubt it will be in Santa Barbara.
