Solvang Vehicle Accident

At 12:28 pm, the Santa Barbara County Fire Department (SBCFD) responded to a vehicle accident, located at 1680 Mission Drive, in Solvang. SBCFD responded two engines and a battalion chief to the scene. SBCFD was assisted by American Medical Response and the Santa Barbara County Sheriff's Department.

Upon arrival to the scene, firefighters found a vehicle that for unknown reasons was driven off a parking structure onto a vehicle below. The female driver was uninjured. Firefighters stabilized the vehicle prior to extricating the driver. The extrication was completed at 1:35 pm.

There were no other injuries reported. The cause of the accident is under investigation.
