SBPD is in pursuit of a white 4-door Chevy sedan, heading west on Medrona.

I heard plate but didn't get it..Car evaded police vehicle was registered as a white Nissan out of Goleta..Might be in the Ontare area.

Sure am glad I drove out of there via Ontare over 15 minutes ago! Ontare is way too narrow for a car chase especially by Toyon/sunset/the bridge.

It would be nice if PD could ID the vehicle by lic # or the new in-car video tape. You City of SB has finally installed cameras in units- something that has been a standard in municipal PD's for 20 + years... Think of all the money the city could have saved with the Beutel incidents etc... My 10 year old can tell the difference between Nissan, Chevy, Ford or Toyota...just sayin- Lame on the cops part!

Maybe your 10 year old ought to apply for a job with the Santa Barbara Police Department I'm sure they can use the help..
