Coastal Gusts
updated: Feb 04, 2013, 4:00 PM
Source: County Environmental Health
Coastal areas will see minor impacts with this storm system, mainly gusty winds
and wet roadways. There will be a slight risk of thunderstorms on Friday,
precipitation amounts are expected to remain light and range from 0.05 to 0.25"
across areas.
Winds of 25 to 35 mph with gusts to 55 mph will be possible and mariners will
experience strong northwest winds and choppy seas across the coastal waters.
A dusting of snow may occur across the Cuyuma Valley. People should be prepared
for winter travel conditions or avoid travel if possible Friday into Saturday
morning.

Roger, I'm with you 100% on that. I LOVE the wind--as long I don't have to be outdoors in it.

When I was young, I used to love riding my horse in the wind; horses get fired up and frisky, great fun.
