Burning Question

Did anyone else see the smoke this morning coming from the foothills near San Roque? I saw it from the
101 on my way to work. Was it a controlled burn?

There's a controlled burn scheduled near Los Alamos today.

There was a delivery truck smoking like crazy at the traffic light at San Roque & Foothill at 9:00 this morning. The smoke was visible from fairly far away - not sure about from the 101 though. As I was approaching the intersection I thought there was a big fire - ends up it was just a truck that has undoubtedly now blown its engine.
