Here's my solution to the problem of pedestrian and bicyclist safety: Make the speed limit for vehicles (including bicycles) 25mph, all throughout the City limits. Enforce this limit.

I'll give a clinic: Look both ways. Cross when safe. Take the ear plugs out. Don't think that the cross walk is a steel tunnel.
