I never understand why they wait to release the video. The alarm was triggered, the door or window is busted, and the stuff is gone. Show who is doing it, then figure out the rest!!!!
It is beyond amoral to steal from kids' education.

Vote 3 for involving the public in solving the crime. If the video is available and of decent quality, grab a few stills and get the photo out pronto. A surf shop in Carp was robbed today, and posted a still from their video showing 4 guys right away, asking for help in IDing them. Seems way more logical than waiting.

They're asking for the public's help with "information about the incident" yet they don't give a description or show a photo!?! Makes no sense to me. Anyone a psychic?

What's with an information officer that doesn't give the public information to help catch a thief of our children's education? My friend's kids go to Vieja, it is so sad to see this happen to our public education equipment. Let the community help, get the video or photos out so we can be on the lookout. Is it too much to ask?

Use a little logic, folks. Probably a juvenile (or close enough that they can't be positive), hence the lack of video/photo.
