i can say definitely do not use the gutter company (the story of why not to is too long)! also, there was a thread about gutters (i think) in the past month. i hope you get some good referrals.

This one is easy. Action Roofing. They do nice work, are local and they did mine. Another earlier thread regarding gutters showed Action Roofing had strong support from Edhat community.

Also try Your Handyman and Construction Co, their specialty is small jobs. Nice people, very conscientious and honest.

The Gutter Co story, part 2. Took several days for about 30 feet of gutters. Continuous gutters have a big, ugly seam where they cut it too short. Screws exposed nearly everywhere. Slope is wrong, so water puddles in gutters for weeks after rains. Was on repair list for leaks in every joint for many months...finally their voicemail filled up and we couldn't even contact them, so had to caulk ourselves. Worst home improvement money we've ever spent.

2nd on A-1 Rain Gutters. Really nice hard working guys who did great work for us. They were very reasonable and reliable.

You should talk to a couple people. We had a very poor response from Action Roofing. (High bid and no follow up.) We had a good price and good response from Tower Roofing.

Action Roofing did ours, and the entire roof. Just saying, even though I'm not supposed to say "just saying."
**I find that the owner's level of involvement makes a giant difference.**

Also, DO check current contractor license status with the State Contractor's Board, regardless of the size of the company. It's just a good habit. I only got messed over by a sole proprietor. It's an easy site to use: https://www2.cslb.ca.gov/onlineservices/checklicenseII/checklicense.aspx Any decent contractor would support the client checking. Yes, once burned, twice shy.

Bassett rain gutters. They gave me a great price and great service. My roofer gave me a very hard sell to buy from them, but I resisted and shopped around. Turns out they were quite expensive. Get multiple quotes! You might be surprised.

As a General Contractor best all around quality of work as well as prompt attention not to mention Best prices after putting it out to bid several times , Have to agree would never use anyone else again but A-1 ,My roofer does my Roofing and A-1 Gets my Gutters it's a no brainer......Stop wasting your time shopping around ...

Don't use Joel's.. They are by far the VERY worst company we have dealt with. We were at the tail end of a huge remodel and worked with dozens of subs and did not experience one problem until we made the mistake of choosing Joel's for our gutter install. Nick, who we originally met with for the estimate was a super nice guy... really liked him... But boy did we run into problems when Joel got involved. He is a "hack" and has no respect or regard for his clients. He damaged our newely finished exterior and wouldn't take any responsibility for it. Nick helped repair the hack job as best he could but still left us with hole in our brand new stucco. Joel is a hot head and the most unprofessional person I have ever dealth with.
