A Santa Barbara man has been arrested after a woman and her 13 month old child were hurt during a
dispute while the man was at the wheel of a car.

This is a 245 Assault with a vehicle with suspect information. Vehicle used a silver Nissan Altimita.

245 is assault with a deadly weapon (as Roger stated). You can google "police codes" or "police scanner codes" and a bunch of websites show up. It's pretty interesting to just scroll through them, actually (I now know what 187 and 404 are, and didn't realize the CB talk I used as a kid was all from cop-speak. 10-4!)

The aggressive and anti-social fashion in which the driver of this vehicle handled the situation, is all too typical of automobile drivers and members of the Auto Club. We need to confiscate all cars and private trucks as they are deadly weapons just waiting to claim their next victims.
