Joe Gehl's Last Day on KEYT

Today is longtime KEYT-TV anchor Joe Gehl's last day on TV Hill, reports Montecito Journal columnist Richard Mineards.

After six years with the ABC affiliate, Gehl is moving on to newer pastures.

Rather than doing both the 5 and 11 p.m. shows, as is normal, his last broadcast will be at 5 before the ABC network news with Diana Sawyer from New York.

He is expected to make a short statement on air to mark his departure.
