Small potatoes compared to what the private sector gets away with. And their "expenses" are tax deductible so we all pay them as well. Basically it just goes to show that many are easy prey for even such minor temptation. He probably just fell into the "system" in which he rationalized that everyone was doing it. Congratulations to those who audited his accounts, caught and prosecuted.

Small potatoes compared to what happens in other departments in the City.... Why is the woman who embezzled $1 million from the SBPD 1-1/2 years ago out on bail and still hasn't even had a preliminary hearing? Sure would be nice if the DA would get on with it already so she could start paying back OUR MONEY!!!!
