What's with the piddly amounts he was taking? Why not remodel your house, while you're at it, like some have done?

Maybe he just got confused and thought it was his EBT card. Doesn't everyone have one these days?

Usually when the city or county employees get caught screwing up they still release them with their retirement and benefits

Where does he live? Lets all as a community go pay him a visit. He did steal our hard earned money. Lets let these rats know we won't put up with it!

Do these thieves really think they will get away with it? Wonder who he thinks will hire him for a job. Maybe Fielding, they don't do background checks.

Small potatoes compared to what the private sector gets away with. And their "expenses" are tax deductible so we all pay them as well. Basically it just goes to show that many are easy prey for even such minor temptation. He probably just fell into the "system" in which he rationalized that everyone was doing it. Congratulations to those who audited his accounts, caught and prosecuted.

Glad they caught this small time crook. Wish they would do something about Korzine or any of the banksters that take us for BILLIONS.

Small potatoes compared to what happens in other departments in the City....

Why is the woman who embezzled $1 million from the SBPD 1-1/2 years ago out on bail and still hasn't even had a preliminary hearing? Sure would be nice if the DA would get on with it already so she could start paying back OUR MONEY!!!!
