Be on the lookout for a 2013 White Hyundai involved in a code 20001- felony hit and run on 1/15/13.

This was from earlier in the week, right? So they determined from the mirror that was left behind that it was a 2013? Wonder if they're checking with local dealerships to see who purchased in the area recently.

Vehicle is missing left mirror and may have left side damage. Owner of vehicle may be seeking to have vehicle repaired. If you see vehicle please call SBPD, OR 911.

Maybe someone called it in. Maybe they are known by people either way they better turn themselves in. It's better to turn yourself in than to make the police work.

Given the hour that this happened, the driver may not live in the area The longer the driver waits, the worse it will be for him (or her). This has already gone out to all the law enforcement agencies statewide. Sad for everyone involved in this.

Yes squirrel you misread code 20001. It won't be 20001 for another 17988 years. Too bad the side view mirror does not have a serial number.

I used to say 2001, that was before I know it was 20001. The BOL just went over the county channel they said the vehicle is a 2010 to a 2013? They must be getting close...Someones calling in information. Sooner than later.

ok, so you know how CalTrans cams are on a few freeway areas? Why can't law enforcement look at those tapes? Surely they can see the damage to the car from that footage, maybe even a plate#??

Pretty easy to get your car fixed by shady people outside of an auto detail place. Can't imagine them being dumb enough to drive it around town until it is fixed, but who knows.

Cal Trans needs more personnel and larger budget before the capital equipment they have already purchased can be utilized. A Heavier tax is required revenue for supervisors, operators, offices & computers etc... I wish the public could understand this. It's so necessary for the protection of our children. We should move forward and have everyone do their fair share and what is right for the State of California. NOT. !!!

The fact that it's a 2013 White Hyundai may narrow the search a bit. It may be registered locally which will make it even easier to find. Get busy SBPD, this is a very bad person.

Flicka, they hit a 22 year old man and killed him. Very sad. I can't link you but it's been on Edhat the last few days.

From what I've heard thru the Grapevine the Hyundai might not be the only involved party..Anyone else hearing weird info out there?
