January 17, 2013 - Inspecting the Islands

Santa Barbara has just about every geographic feature one could wish for. Although the Channel Islands do not have heavy foot traffic from tourists, they are as spectacular as any area of our little piece of paradise.

On Wednesday morning, a whole lot of pelicans and other sea creatures flocked around Leadbetter Beach for a massive feeding frenzy. One subscriber shared a video of the unusual event, click here to see mother nature at work.
