Does anybody have any details on why Aberdeen Avenue in Goleta was blocked by the police and Fire Department? Looks like the bomb squad truck is also involved.[pic]

YES suspicious package left at my house.. Had to call the bomb squad in to open it.. All is good...

UM, 371/OP - I was happy to see the photo. If there's nothing to hide, just chill and be happy it wasn't a bomb. When stuff happens on a public street and emergency responders (paid by all tax-payers) respond, the matter becomes public. Like I said, I was happy to see the photo - it added a lot to the story. Thanks to whoever took it and took the time to share it.

I say good for the law enforcement in taking this seriously in light of what just happened on this same street just about a month ago; search "aberdeen" on Edhat for more details....
