January 12, 2013 - Fires and Traffic
Friday was a busy day for our local law enforcement and fire fighters. There were two reported fires and two reported traffic accidents, but our Edhat
subscribers were keeping us updated every step of the way. A vegetation and yurt fire broke out Friday morning off of old San Marcos Road, but the Fire
Department states it was knocked out by 9:45 am. Roger also reported a type of brush fire in someone's front yard on South Canada Street. Edhat
subscribers and the Urban Hikers were on the scene of two dangerous vehicle accidents in the downtown area. Perhaps the lesson we've learned is not to
run red lights and keep your ammunition away from yurts on fire.
In local news: County Public Health warns locals to take precaution against the flu, Edhatters show off photos of how they keep warm with Flash Friday,
and two fires sparked in Santa Barbara.
Jim

The evening culminates with one of the finest romantic orchestral works, the famous "Scottish"

ruins of a chapel in Edinburgh. (Sunday, January 20, 2013)
