Army Air Corps he met Mary Shepard of Carpinteria, they wed in 1945.

The evening culminates with one of the finest romantic orchestral works, the famous "Scottish"
Symphony by Mendelssohn, said to be inspired by the composer's evening twilight visit to the haunted
