January 9, 2013 - Harbor View
Santa Barbara was greeted with a somewhat familiar jolt on Tuesday morning. Edhatters took to the computer to report their version of the local shakes.
Although we have yet to receive an official statement from a governing body, we can only assume what caused the window rattling. Aliens? Sonic Booms?
Earthquakes? Government Testing? We're not sure but we love to read your ideas.
In the news: SB Police have released photos of a man wanted for identity theft, Roger reported an apartment fire on W. Arrellaga Street, and the identity
of a man found dead on New Years Day has been released. Read these stories and more, below.

Mozart & Mendelssohn -
After opening with a delicate contemporary Japanese soundscape, two stars from the New York
Philharmonic reunite in Santa Barbara for Mozart's masterful Sinfonia Concertante for Violin and Viola.
The evening culminates with one of the finest romantic orchestral works, the famous "Scottish"
Symphony by Mendelssohn, said to be inspired by the composer's evening twilight visit to the haunted
ruins of a chapel in Edinburgh. (Sunday, January 20, 2013) |
