January 8, 2013 - Lucky Lion

We are all reminded that the boundary between society and wild is unclear as disaster was avoided when the California Department of Fish and Wildlife were able to remove a mountain lion from town.

In the news: A mountain lion was on the loose around Santa Barbara before it was tranquilized and taken away, a helicopter was circling Hope Ranch, and Edhatters talk about breakfast sandwiches. Read these stories and more, below.
