Spent time at the Goleta Slough "shooting" birds and talking to some of the participants in the annual Christmas Bird Count. Very cloudy and didn't think the sunset would be very colorful. Glad I decided to walk over to the pier and set up my tripod and camera. The colors were really nice and the sun really intense.

Did a few long exposures under and around the pier creating some "dreamy" water.

Was surprised more people weren't out as it wasn't too cold and not windy. A very beautiful evening!
