January 6, 2013 - Greener Pastures
It's been a busy week here on Edhat. We started a brand new year, Roger covered high speed car chases down to the second, we
witnessed multiple structure fires including a Montecito mansion and the old building of Montecito Motors, we experienced a little snow on the dangerous
154 pass, and we heavily debated the differences between a wolf and a coyote. Who knew the first week of 2013 would be so eventful?
Since it has been such a hectic week, we have a great lineup all ready for you. Sit back and relax with a cup of hot coffee or whiskey (we're not here to
judge) and check out the Sunday columns.
Our Cat of the Week is Coc Co, but she hates being confused with CoCo Chanel, in fact she's probably mad we even brought it up. Our Dog of the Week
is Dubbel, a dog with many names but most notably named after a delicious beer. Our Non-profit of the Week is the Teddy Bear Cancer Foundation which
provides a wide range of support for families with children suffering from cancer. David Powdrell watched some sky lanterns take flight to celebrate the New
Year and the Indie Film Guru looks over the best independent films from 2012.
