There is a trapped pelican in the center divider near Salinas Exit on Highway 101. CHP is on the scene.

I thought it was strange hearing" The bird appears to be taking a nap and is uninjured in the center divider." I sure hope they can get it out of there..

Northbound at Salinas..I hope they cover both sides so the bird don't freak out and get nailed in the Southbound lanes..

CHP is not on scene as of yet Animal Control 4 is on scene with the Peligan in the center divider..

Information on CHP Website also. I sure hope they are able to rescue that bird sure would be nice to hear some good news for a change.
