Scanner Reports 12-26-12
updated: Dec 26, 2012, 7:00 AM

By Roger the Scanner Guy

Well hair we are the Day after Christmas. I hope everyone got what they want. I sure got a lot of things. Someone bought me a platter of sugar cookies, and homemade candies. Don't tell Dr. Sully he'll have my hide - heeheeheehee. Oh well he knows anyway he told me his wife reads Edhat. A few short days we'll be out of 2012. It will be 2013; I wonder what day the world is going to end next year?

I've been thinking a lot about the cliffs over there at Wilcox and all the poor little dogs that have fallen from there, and been trapped on the cliffs. I think it's only a matter of time for a child to run off there or fall. Everyone and their Gran Mammy knows there would be a lawsuit of some kind if a kid fell off those cliffs. That is why I could see some type of fence or barricade erected there. Kids are curious and so are animals. We could put up signs try them but most kids and dogs I know of don't read signs. We could not allow kids and dogs there post signs all over the place but most of us know they won't listen. I really don't want to see someone's kid or dog dead at the bottom of those cliffs. Some badly injured kid brain damaged the rest of their life. I know there are many other places in town accidents can happen. They seem to happen at this location a lot at least with dogs. I guess the city could hire a security guard to sit up there 24/7 and tell dogs to stay away. Of course a fence would be so much cheaper all around. That's my opinion and I'm sticking to it. Feel free to voice your opinion we're all entitled to opinions.

Seems like every time it rains around here there are accidents one right after the other maybe if people slowed down just a little bit maybe we wouldn't have as many accidents. Why is everyone in such a hurry to wreck their vehicles? Slow Down.
