December 24, 2012 - Return of the Light
The return of the light is the most prominent feature of most midwinter
festivals. By lighting lights in the darkness, we celebrate the birth of the
sun, simulate the growing strength of the light and illuminate the
darkness.
In the news: Kids were treated to a free health day by a collaboration of local businesses and non-profits. Southern Californians still have to get the
hang of driving in rain; Roger was busy reporting a number of traffic accidents over the weekend; and today is your final day to buy that last stocking
