Bank Robbery: Chase Bank on the 1300 Block of State Street. A white adult male with grey hair and a gun.

Be on da Lookout for a white male adult late 40's early 50's 5'6 to 5'7 160-170 pounds lite color eyes, wearing a black leather jacket, blue jeans, carrying the money in a bank envelop. Wearing a dark grey beenie with no logo on it. Had a 5 or 6 shot dark revolver.

They got some guy pulled over on the East Side over there might be him the teller is going to ID Him...I hope it aien't the wrong dude.

I had a buddy once looked just like this guy that killed someone in New Jersey was on Unsolved Mysteries I turned him in because I'm such a good fiend and it looked like him but it wasn't.

I don't think that guy was da one...They said the beenie was covering his entire face..Looks like we may be looking at that picture next month after all..They are checking out homeless types that fit the discription.

Now they are looking for a shoplifter from the CVS that lifted a bottle of booze that matches the discription of the bank robber..Watch out Sportsman patrons!

They got the lookalike bank robber whos really a shoplifter in front of Saks..They are going to bring the teller down to id the shoplifter just in case he's the bank robber too..

Positive ID on an attempted shoplifting. I don't know why someone that just robbed a bank would shoplift a bottle of booze a block or so away but this is Santa Barbara there's all kinds around here.

If u want to get away with a bank robbery, SB is the place to do it.. so many have gotten away. The odds seem to be in the robbers favor around here.

Those "night watch" beanie caps can convert into what the Brits call a Balaclava. It can cover your whole face and then be rolled up to look like a beanie.

I know someone with the same physical description, including the beanie, who hangs out on the mesa sometimes, but was downtown today, who has/had a habit of walking out of Lazy Acres with wine bottles, busted at least once there, but I agree with DA Dudley and Scam Sanchez that we don't want to try cases in the press, and evidence such as physical description should only be released during discovery as part of the trial process.

What, no helicopter search? I live on S. Hope and they fly right on in when this trio of banks on the corner get robbed. Why do people think they can get away with things like this? There was a robbery in LA yesterday and the package they were given contained a tracker and they narrowed it down to a car on the freeway, so they stopped the entire freeway and went thru car by car until they got them. Kind of scary for those not involved to see officers creeping along and in and out of traffic with their guns drawn.
