The Beach Break cafe has a giant gooey hot mess of a bun, they're located on lower state state just north of the freeway overpass.

I saw a new bakery in a cute pink Victorian house at the bottom of Santa Barbara Street near Smart & Final. Still the best bakery is Andersen's in 1100 block of State St. Their butter ring is to die for. .

Cody's on Hollister & Turnpike has excellent Cinnamon rolls and will give you extra frosting upon request. Nicely decorated too for Christmas this time of year!

Our Daily Bread has schnecken, which are very sticky and yummy indeed. Not sure they have them every day, call first.
