There is a controlled burn today at 1500 San Marcos Pass Road, someone called it in seeing smoke in the area.

about 9:30 there was a window/door rattling explosion sound here in the Turnpike area...did a propane tank go off in this controlled burn or something?

I heard it at State Street and Los Positas at 9 30. It was so strong it woke me up from sleeping - thought it was an earthquate...
