Beech & Farmers

Yesterday's windy skies saw me aloft enjoying the clear air. But first I paused to look at this beautifully
maintained 1940s era Beech 18
visiting from Chico. Departing the airport I turned along the shore, and was treated to this great view from
UCSB past SBA to the mountains. Downtown I noticed that the few seemed to have braved the wind and
cold to visit my favorite Farmers Market.

Sweeeeet, I saw it heading ESE yesterday and wondered whether it was a twin Beech or an Electra; too far away to tell. The sound of those radial engines always makes me perk up.
