We have always had a lot of success with Castro's Cleaning. We have large dogs, so we have our home carpet cleaned every quarter and they have done our business a few times as well. Reliable and honest!

Honestly? I finally bought a carpet steamer, and cleaned my own. It did a good job, and cost way less.

Unique Carpet Care. Very professional, thourogh, no upsell, cleaned stains I never thought they could. I think the price for 4 bedrooms hallway and stairs was around $215.00 (worth it). And here is the best part. They seem to be the only company that washes and then RINSES the carpets no residue!!

I second del bonis. He's a nice dude and it's reasonable. they also use stuff that doesn't stink up the carpet or leave too much water in and ruin the twist or pile. @195p, it's been my experience that if you can move the light stuff out of the way, they will put the things like sofas on little cardboard feet and move them around and clean under them. things like a dresser or buffet could be moved with the help fo friends maybe though, that's prob too heavy to ask them to move for you.

I have used Alfonso Lazaro for years. Alfonso and his sons are great, and they charge less than half what these other rip-off companies charge. Need your house cleaned too? No problem. Alfonso's wife Elizabeth does house cleaning for an unbelievably low price. Call Alfonso at 805-451-8591.

I agree with the poster who named Tom Conklin with Santa Barbara Carpet Cleaning. He is very careful with the furniture, always thoroughly rinses and dries as much as he can. I had him do sofas, chairs, and rugs, and have been very happy with all of them. He's efficient, on time, honest and, in my opinion, worth the money.

Please don't use unique carpet care. They left my carpets soggy and wet and when I asked them to help they brought fans to blow on it. When I spoke to the manager/owner he was unbelievably rube that it shook me. I went out and bought my own carpet cleaner and did fine.

I also agree that Naturalist is the best. They are great, environmentally friendly and the carpets dry fast. I had white carpet and it wouldn't have stayed that way without them.

I manage a franchise that specializes in disaster restoration, including rug/carpet cleaning. We get some pretty dirty jobs, and we outsource to EnviroSolutions. Over the past three years they have yet to fail even once at getting out even the deepest dirt/odors. Very professional, thorough, and reasonably priced. Lawrence, the owner, shows enthusiasm for and takes pride in his work. Highly recommend. 705-4531.

Had the traffic paths on a light colored carpet done by Del Bonis and it looked better than it has for years despite several cleanings by other companies. Their truck machine really works well both with steam for cleaning and powerful extraction, and carpet was just slightly damp afterward. We were amazed at how much better the carpet looked. In fact, the traffic areas were much cleaner than the areas we thought weren't dirty. Highly recommend Del Bonis. Later we had Absolute do the whole house, and it was a big disappointment. Didn't look much different before/after, and the carpet was soaking wet. After they left we went over some areas with a shop vac where furniture needed to go back, and got it much dryer. The machine they use is a bigger version of the kind you can rent, and they used soapy water. Also added a big extra charge for doing the "heavily soiled" areas, so it ended up costing almost the same as Del Bonis. We do not recommend Absolute.
