Can't access the video from work, but I can just imagine a 30-minute video taken by someone desperately wanting to cross State Street, but they can't.

Tonka Grrrl Dog! too bad Sammy wasn't in the pic. :-)
but seriously, this is one hour long? Too much for even the videographer to edit, eh? I might skip around in it. Thanks for posting, I like the event.

This is one of the most utterly absurd and obnoxious events of the year. I'm all for toys for disadvantage kids, but the noise and air pollution as well as the traffic nightmare that are a result of this event are disturbing. Keep the toys for kids get rid of the mid-life crisis folks playing mine is louder than yours.

I videoed it in its entirety coming up State. Total time was 5:40 including cops in front blocking traffic. So I'm so sorry some had to wait almost 6 minutes to cross the street.

Aww.... jealous you must be, scooter you can't afford (Vespas ride this one too you know) so no parade for you ... poor whipper-snapper you must be.

Thank you CHP, and SBPD for a great job with traffic control, and thank you everyone who signed up. This was the best 25th year toy run ever!

Please. If you haven't seen South Park's Season 13, Episode 12: "The F Word," please watch sometime soon.
(It's not the F word you think and had me and my s.o. howling with laughter.) Hint: Has to do with Harley riders.

953... relax. I'm sure you take part in plenty of events that annoy other people. To your likely dismay, I took part in the ride again this year (and will keep doing so) on a quiet and efficient motorcycle. One of the very coolest things about the ride is to see all the people on the streets (from Summerland to Goleta) cheering for, and thanking, the riders for their contribution. If you haven't given lately, try it. And, by the way, it IS really impressive to see several hundred riders together.
