updated: Dec 11, 2012, 8:23 AM
By the Urban Hikers
Early Tuesday morning, a woman driving a small sedan crossing De La Vina at De La Guerra Street,
appears to have clipped a vehicle traveling down De La Vina. As reported by Roger, the impact caused the
clipped vehicle, a pickup truck, to hit a tree and flip onto its side. It also sent the sedan into the curb.
Luckily no one was injured in the collision.
SBFD responded, as well as SB Fire Engine 1 and Truck 1.
Traffic was closed at that intersection for about an hour.
One firefighters on scene remarked about the unusually high incidence of rollover accidents on city streets
in the past several months, but declined to speculate as to the reason(s) for the increase.
